Air bubbles in engine oil for Bajaj Dominar 400

Air bubbles in engine oil for Bajaj Dominar 400

After 10 mins of riding in the morning i can see air bubbles in engine oil.. should I feel concern about this? by the way bike odo is 600 km now.. done first service at 530 kms in Bajaj showroom

I told service technician to use Motul 10W50

Bubble are going off after 10 min once i switch off the engine??

Hi Vishal.

How long dose it stay after u stop (turn off) your bike. If it disappeared within 5 min then it's common but if it stays for more than 10 minutes and sticks to that glass window like greas than there is a problem....

But as per image it looks good and normal...

Check this pic... Coolent was mixing with oil... The bubbles look greasy.

This is completely normal in all vehicles and all oils.
More common in liquid cooled engines.

If the bubbles go away within say 5 or 10 mins, then no issues at all.

But if you see them staying there for a longer duration or if it's kind of thick and sticking to the inspection window, Houston, you have a problem.
